Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited conduct when using the Malika Media website and AI voice agent services (the "Services"). It applies to all clients, end users, and visitors and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

1. General rules

  • Use the Services only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with these rules.
  • Do not use the Services in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair them.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or related systems.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use the Services to:

  • Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person or group.
  • Send spam or unsolicited marketing in violation of TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, or similar laws.
  • Engage in fraud, deception, phishing, or impersonation of any person, business, or government entity.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Collect personal information without proper notice and consent, or in violation of applicable privacy laws.
  • Record or transcribe calls in violation of applicable consent laws.
  • Provide medical, dental, legal, financial, or other regulated advice through the AI without appropriate professional review and disclosures.
  • Use the Services as a substitute for emergency services or crisis response.
  • Promote violence, self-harm, terrorism, sexual exploitation of minors, or other harmful content.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code, models, or prompts from the Services, except as permitted by law.

3. Industry-specific requirements

  • Healthcare and dental: you are responsible for compliance with HIPAA and similar laws when applicable, including any required Business Associate Agreement.
  • Legal: you are responsible for compliance with state bar advertising and unauthorized practice of law rules.
  • Telephony and messaging: you are responsible for proper call disclosures, opt-out handling, do-not-call list compliance, and consent for calls and SMS.

4. Reporting violations

If you believe someone is violating this AUP, please report it to hello@malikamedia.com with relevant details so we can investigate.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action we consider appropriate, including warning users, removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and cooperating with law enforcement. Violations may also result in legal liability.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
